Brick & Brew Havertown has joined forces with CHOC (children’s hospital of Orange County) & 826-DC (helps DC students build their writing skills, share what matters to them, and build a lifelong relationship with writing) and Nelson Cade III from The Voice to host a Mother's Day brunch with music and purpose. 100% of the concert proceeds will be donated to the above charities.

The rooftop will host Lenny from 2-4 PM and 5-7 PM. We recommend anyone who would like to eat before the show to arrive at the restaurant 90 minutes prior to either the 2-4 PM or 5-7 PM concert. *Food will not be served on the rooftop during the concert.


There are two ticket options.
$60 Gold Ticket includes brunch & access to the concert.
$20 Silver Ticket includes access to the concert. The full restaurant menus are available with the purchase of a Silver Ticket. However, the meal is not covered by the ticket price.

St. Vincent College is having a THE VOICE competition and Nelson Cade III will be the celebrity guest judge.

Backyard Bash

Superblock Park in The Yard District
4 PM - 8 PM

Let the lawn games begin! Enjoy live music, great food, fun activities and cold beverages at the Backyard Bash.

Grab your favorite pair of flip-flops and bring the family to Superblock Park (2601 Washington Ave.), a 3 ½ acre green space located in the Yard District. The event begins at 4:00 p.m. with a Club Waka cornhole tournament, 9-hole putt putt course, mechanical bull ride, interactive yard games, a 360-degree photo booth, inflatable obstacle courses for adults and kids, children’s activities, parkour course, food truck rally, adult beverages and live music. Live musical performances begin at 5:00 p.m. Guests are permitted to bring their own lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the evening.

The Backyard Bash is free and open the public. Event parking will be located at Newport News City Hall (2400 Washington Ave.) with free shuttle service to and from Superblock Park from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
